– Youtube ads
Although she has good standing on youtube I can’t seem to find additional sources of income. So we are going to play and hypothesize how she could boost her channel with some passive income sources.
Topic of Interest
– Body Painting
Jordan follows a fun schedule uploading about 3 videos per month and 31 videos in the month of October.
Jordan Hines began body painting in March of 2014. He youtube journey sparked from starting an Instagram account where she followed body painters. She did not have a technical background but decided that she wanted to make this her career so she started YouTube as a means to do so.
At the point where she made her Q&A video she explains that she is not yet making a living from these videos. It appears that today she has grown quite a loyal following who might have changed this for her. On the video uploaded today she states that she purchased the costume on amazon. She could look into amazon affiliates and start linking to those with her unique affiliate link.
One of the ways that I I think would be very cool for her to explore would be hosting paid webinars. She could do this the day of halloween so that people can get ready with her and ask questions as they prepare and watch and hang out as she does her look. Later she could form a library and sell those classes on a website as paid downloads.
She should also set up a patreon account which is a platform that seems to be tailored to artists. People who really follow her and want to make sure she puts out videos can suggest a tutorial topic and give them priority based on the amount donated.
Here are some ebook ideas for her:
- Mixing Body Paint for Custom Colors
- Concept to creation: Describing the process of how she gets her ideas for the looks and the conceptual stage of her looks
- Color Theory
- Creating Props
It’s interesting to look at which videos have been a big hit. All of them are wildly successful. Here are some noteworthy ones
It’s a surprise to all of us!
